"Prayer Before Maghrib Believed to Protect from Danger"
Every Muslim is encouraged to always pray to Allah every day.
Every Muslim is encouraged to always pray to Allah every day.
Dream - Maghrib is one of the prayer times for Muslims. At that time, there is a transition from daytime to nighttime. The arrival of Maghrib is usually marked by the sight of a red horizon.
"At dusk, parents usually always forbid their children to go out of the house. The reason often used is that children may be abducted by supernatural beings during that time. That reason is not entirely wrong. The Prophet Muhammad also once asked mothers to keep an eye on their children during Maghrib time."
"(Hadith Narrated by Al Bukhari and Muslim)."
It turns out that the trust of the community is clearly conveyed in one of the hadiths narrated by Bukhari. The hadith explains that when it is early evening or late afternoon, you should restrain your children because the devil is roaming around. However, if that time has passed, you may let your children go. With the recommendation of the Prophet, parents and everyone should take advantage of the time before sunset to get closer to Allah SWT. One way to get closer to Allah SWT is by praying. So, what is the prayer to recite before sunset? Here, Dream has summarized it from various sources.
"Rasulullah SAW also taught the good pronunciation of the evening prayer. Abu Hurairah RA narrated the prayer of Rasulullah SAW that was recited in the evening, as quoted by Imam An-Nawawi in the Book of Al-Adzkar. اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ Allāhumma bika amsainā, wa bika nahyā, wa bika namūtu, wa ilaikan nushūr."
"O Allah, with You I end my day, with You we live, with You we die. Only to You (we) return."
Imam An-Nawawi also quoted the morning and evening prayers of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) narrated by Ibn Mas'ud in Sahih Muslim as follows: "إمٌَُِّٓنَّ وإمٌَُِّٓنَّ المَلُكَلُ ɘوإلُɘ, وɳʄ>D;ʅ>F;ʄʄʇɘ, ʄɳɘَʄʇɘəلʇɘَʄʇɘَʄʇɘمَلُɘ, ʈʄʇɘلʇɘُكَلُɘَʄʇɘلʇɘʇɘوَلُɘكَلُɘفَََُّɘَلُɘُنَفََّɘəقََُّɘٍََّوَɘكََّلُɘمَلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّɘٍََّɘكََّوَɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘفََّɘلَلُɘكََّلُɘفَََِّɘقَََِّɘٍََّلُɘكََّلُɘ
"We and the power of Allah bid farewell to the evening. All praise be to Allah. There is no god but Allah, the One and Only, without any partners. To Him belongs all power and praise. He has power over everything. My Lord, I seek goodness from You tonight and the nights to come. I seek Your protection from evil tonight and the nights to come. My Lord, I seek Your protection from laziness and weakness in old age. I seek Your protection from the punishment of Hellfire and the punishment of the grave."
In the name of Allah, when mentioned, nothing on earth or in the heavens can harm. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Maghrib is the time when the devils come out, so it is best for us to recite one of the prayers mentioned in the hadith narrated by Ahmad as follows: "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of His creation." Meaning: I seek protection only in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of His creation. It is recommended to recite this prayer three times.
