Dream - In Islamic teachings, praying for deceased parents is one of the noblest forms of devotion and love. In everyday life, parents are figures full of love, sacrifice, and hard work in raising and educating their children. When they have passed away, our relationship with them is not simply severed. Instead, we still have the opportunity to repay their kindness through sincere prayers.

In prayer, we hope that all their sins are forgiven, their good deeds accepted, and they are given a noble place in His presence. Rabbighfir l\u012b, wa li w\u0101lidayya, warham hum\u0101 kam\u0101 rabbay\u0101n\u012b shagh\u012br\u0101.

Artinya: "Tuhanku, ampunilah dosaku dan (dosa) kedua orang tuaku. Sayangilah keduanya sebagaimana keduanya menyayangiku di waktu aku kecil."

Lalu, dilanjutkan dengan membaca doa untuk memohon ampunan kepada Allah SWT yang ditujukan pada umat Islam secara umum dan terkhusus orang tua, guru, serta orang-orang berjasa.

Rabbighfir lī, wa li wālidayya, warham humā kamā rabbayānī shaghīrā.

Meaning: "My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and have mercy on them as they raised me when I was young."

Then, continue by reciting a prayer to seek forgiveness from Allah SWT, directed towards the Muslim community in general and specifically towards parents, teachers, and those who have rendered services.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ الْأَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَالْأَمْوَاتِ مِنْ مَشَارِقِ الْأَرْضِ إِلَى مَغَارِبِهَا بِرَحْمَتِهَا وَبِحَرْمَتِهَا، خُصُوصًا إِلَى آبَائِنَا وَأُمَّهَاتِنَا وَأَجْدَادِنَا وَجَدَّادِنَا وَأَسَاتِذَتِنَا وَمُعَلِّمِينَا وَلِمَنْ أَحْسَنَ إِلَيْنَا وَلِأَصْحَابِ الْحُقُوقِ عَلَيْنَا.

Meaning: "O Allah, forgive the believing men and women, the Muslim men and women, those who are still alive and those who have passed away, those who are scattered from the east to the west, on land and at sea, especially our fathers, mothers, grandparents, teachers, and those who have been kind to us, and those who still have rights over us." Then, continue with a prayer to seek mercy, forgiveness, and intercession for those who have become martyrs: "Allah, forgive them, have mercy on them, heal them, and pardon them. Allah, send down mercy, forgiveness, and intercession upon the people of Quboor (graveyards) from the people of La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad Rasul Allah."

"Allāhumma ghfir lahum, warhamhum, wa 'āfihim, wa'fu 'anhum. Allāhumma anzilir rahmata, wal maghfirata, was syafā'ata 'alā ahlil qubūri min ahli lā ilāha illallāhu Muhammadun rasūlullāh. Artinya: 'Ya Allah, forgive them, have mercy on them, grant them well-being, and pardon them. Ya Allah, bestow mercy, forgiveness, and intercession upon the people of graves who profess the two testimonies of faith.' After that, it is concluded by reciting the following prayer: رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً، وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ، سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ، وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ، وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ. الفَاتِحَةَ"

"Rabbanā ātinā fid dunyā hasanah, wa fil ākhirati hasanah, wa qinā ‘adzāban nār. Subhāna rabbika rabbil ‘izzati ‘an mā yashifūna, wa salāmun ‘alal mursalīna, wa shallallāhu ‘alā sayyidinā Muhammadin, wa ‘alā ālihī, wa shahbihī, wa sallama, wal hamdulillāhi rabbil ‘ālamīn. Al-Fatihah. Artinya: "Our Lord, give us goodness in this world and goodness in the hereafter. Protect us from the punishment of the fire. Glorified is Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, from all that they attribute to Him."
