Dream - Destiny is everything that has been determined by Allah SWT for every creature. As a faithful Muslim, one must certainly accept whatever decision Allah SWT has made. Realizing that whatever has been decided by Allah SWT is the best for His people. Even though in our opinion it may be bad, it may not necessarily be bad according to Allah SWT. So, what if someone's destiny is bad, can it be changed?

Human beings have the freedom to choose their actions, but ultimately, good and bad fate are determined by Allah. In the Islamic perspective, destiny is part of Allah's absolute power and is a plan that cannot be changed by humans. Some verses of the Quran that explain destiny include Surah Al-An'am verse 59, which states that everything is determined by Allah, and Surah At-Takwir verse 29, which states that Allah's destiny will definitely happen.

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) also taught practices to change destiny, such as prayer, charity, and repentance. In a hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said that nothing can change destiny except prayer. Therefore, in the Islamic perspective, destiny is not something that can be altered by humans. However, humans are still encouraged to pray and perform righteous deeds in order to receive good fortune from Allah SWT.

He refers to a hadith narrated by Al-Hakim, which states that prayer can change fate. According to UAS, prayer is a means given by Allah to humans to seek help and goodness. Although fate has been determined, prayer has the power to attain mercy and goodness from Allah. UAS explains that prayer does not directly change fate.

However, it can be a means to change circumstances and obtain ease in living the predetermined destiny. Thus, UAS's view combines the belief in predestination with the importance of prayer as a means to seek help and achieve goodness.

"However, Allah also grants freedom to humans to strive to change their destiny through prayer, worship, and good deeds. In a hadith narrated by Ahmad, Prophet Muhammad taught that prayer is a weapon of a believer, which can alter the predetermined destiny. Sincere and sincere prayers to Allah can influence the change of the written destiny. From the perspective of the Qur'an, Allah says in Surah Ar-Ra'd verse 11: "

"In truth, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves." This verse teaches that changing destiny also depends on the effort and changes made by humans themselves. Thus, the way to change the destiny that has been written in Lauhul Mahfudz is through worship, prayer, hard work, and doing good deeds according to the teachings of religion."

Allahumma inni as-aluka min khoiri maa sa-alaka minhu nabiyyuka Muhammad shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.Wa a’udzu bika min syarri masta’aadza minhu nabiyyuka Muhammad shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.Wa antal musta’an, wa’alaikal balaagh. Wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa billah. Translation: "O Allah, I ask You for the good that Your Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him asked You for, and seek refuge in You from the evil that Your Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him sought refuge in. You are the One from whom help is sought, and upon You is the responsibility to convey (the message). There is no power or strength except by Allah."

First, acts of kindness such as being good to others, giving charity, and performing actions that benefit others can change someone's fate and bad luck. Second, according to authentic hadiths, seeking forgiveness and repenting to Allah can also influence someone's fate. Third, performing actions in accordance with religious teachings such as sincerely practicing worship and doing things commanded by Allah can also bring about changes in someone's fate.
