Prayer before Marriage Ceremony (Khutbatul Hajjah)
"The wedding ceremony usually begins with reciting prayers and a short sermon. The importance of the marriage contract (ijab kabul) in the wedding ceremony requires that a prayer be offered before the wedding ceremony. The Prophet Muhammad recommended reciting a prayer before the wedding ceremony with the following prayer, Khutbatul Hajah:"
Indeed, all praise is due to Allah, we seek His help and forgiveness, and we seek refuge in Him from the evil within ourselves and from our wrongdoings. Whomever Allah guides, there is no one who can misguide them, and whomever Allah misguides, there is no one who can guide them. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]. O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer. O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice. He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.

"Prayer Before Marriage Contract for Groom"
The groom will say the qabul sentence at the wedding ceremony. This moment is what makes many grooms nervous and sweaty. It is not uncommon for the groom to have to repeat the qabul sentence during the wedding ceremony because it is not fluent. "Prayer Before Marriage Contract"
"Allahumma inni as-aluka khairaha wa khaira maa jabaltaha 'alaihi, wa a'udzu bika min syarriha wa syarri maa jabaltaha 'alaihi." Translation: "O Allah, I ask You for the good of it and the good that You have ordained for it, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil that You have ordained for it."
