The TikToker known as Galih Loss was arrested by the police after being named a suspect in a blasphemy case. Galih was arrested while at his girlfriend's residence in the Setu area, Bekasi Regency, West Java. Quoting Merdeka.com, it tells the moments when Galih's girlfriend's house was raided by the police for the arrest.

Initially, a number of members of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police dressed as thugs entered one of the rooms where Galih was inside. Then, there was another adult man who was Galih's boyfriend's father. "Come out," said the adult man.

In the front porch of that house, one of the police officers dressed in black was already waiting. He then explained his arrival to confirm the content of Galih, which was considered as blasphemy towards religion.

"We are from the Police Regional Police team," said one investigator. "Huh, why?" Galih suddenly exclaimed in surprise. "Are you a TikToker?" the investigator asked Galih. "Yes, sir," replied Galih. "What did you say?" said the investigator.

Galih admits to having created content that has a comedic tone and has touched on religion. Even the video he uploaded went viral on social media. Galih is aware that his content has caused unrest among the community.

"Coincidentally, a month ago I made a video at a tourist location. And it went viral and caused concern among the residents," explained Galih. "But before I made that video, I had already confirmed with the victim's party," he continued. Finally, the investigators immediately escorted Galih to the Metro Jaya Regional Police while securing his cellphone."

"Meanwhile, the Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Commissioner Pol Ade Safri Simanjuntak, revealed that the arrest of Galih Loss was carried out after the Cyber Crime Unit 2 team of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Cyber Crime Directorate conducted a cyber patrol."

"On Monday, April 22, 2024, when the team from Unit 2 of Sub-Directorate IV of Cyber Crime Sub-Directorate of the Jakarta Metro Police conducted a cyber patrol, they found a TikTok account with the username @galihloss3 uploading a video containing offensive content based on ethnicity, religion, and race," said Ade Safri, as quoted from Merdeka.com. Ade explained that the video contained the spread of hatred based on ethnicity, religion, and race through electronic media and blasphemy towards a religion in Indonesia. "Further investigation and prosecution efforts will be carried out regarding the alleged criminal acts," he added.

Ade revealed that on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 14.30 WIB, the investigative team conducted a case conference to designate GNAP as a suspect. "The suspect was arrested on Jalan Kampung Burangkeng, RT.3/RW.6, Burangkeng, Setu, Bekasi, West Java on Monday (April 22) at 23.00 WIB," he said.
