Dream - Cats are animals that are commonly found around us. Not only as pets, there are also many stray cats roaming the streets without anyone knowing their owners. These stray cats are the ones that Dream's friends should be cautious of because they sometimes pass by on the streets and startle drivers. Moreover, in Indonesia, there are still many people who believe that hitting a cat can bring bad luck. For Muslims, it is better to know the prayer to recite when accidentally hitting a cat. Because incidents like this can happen unexpectedly at any time.

Hitting a cat until it dies accidentally will not bring sin to the perpetrator. This law also applies to all actions done unintentionally. As explained in the word of Allah SWT through Surah Al-Ahzab verse 5: "And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred but [only for] what your hearts intended. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful." (QS. Al Ahzab: 5)

In addition, the Prophet Muhammad also said, "Indeed, Allah forgives the mistakes of my ummah due to errors, forgetfulness, and compulsion." (HR. Ibn Majah and Al Baihaqi) So, for Dream's friend who accidentally hit a cat and caused its life to disappear, you don't need to worry. However, you should take responsibility by burying the cat so as not to disturb other road users.

This myth is enough to make people worried. So when they really experience misfortune after hitting a cat, it is associated with the event when they hit the cat. In fact, there are other factors that will determine the misfortune you experience. Here is a prayer for accidentally hitting a cat that can be practiced by Dream's friends: أَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ مَاشَاءَ اللَّهُ لَاقُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ لَايَأْتِي بِالْحَسَنَاتِ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَلَا يُذْهِبُ السَّيِّئَاتِ إِلَّا اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ Meaning: "I am a servant of Allah, everything is by the will of Allah, there is no power except from Allah, nothing brings goodness except Allah, and nothing removes evil except Allah. I bear witness that Allah is capable of everything." قَدِيرٌ

In addition, Dream's friends can also practice prayers to avoid bad luck that was taught by the Prophet Muhammad, as follows: اَللّٰهُمَّ لَايْأِتِيْ بِالْحَسَنَاتِ اِلَّااَنْتَ وَلَا يَذْهَبُ بِالسَّيِّئَاتِ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ، وَلَاحَوْلَ وَلَاقُوَّةَ اِلَّابِاللهِ Allahumma laa thaira illaa thaituka walaa khaira illa khairuka, walaa ilaaha ghairuka. It means: "O Allah, there is no good except what You bring, there is no evil except what You remove, and there is no power or strength except with (the permission of) Allah." (Narrated by Ibn Sunni)

First is to prepare a grave for the deceased cat. Choose a place that does not disturb others. For example, the backyard of the house, the side of the house, the garden, or at a cemetery.

If you have found the right place, start digging the hole. Before burying, wrap the cat first with cloth or paper. This is to prevent the cat's body from directly touching the ground. However, avoid wrapping the cat with plastic because plastic cannot decompose naturally in the soil.
