Dream - The Saudi Arabian government has set a maximum of five days for the holiday of Eid al-Fitr 1445 H/2024. The cabinet meeting also agreed on the latest amendments to the provisions for the holidays of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
Quoted from Saudi Gazette, the cabinet meeting led directly by King Salman approved amendments to the list of certain government entities' administration, including authorities, institutions, centers, programs, and similar bodies on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Originally, the cabinet ensures that the official holidays for Idul Fitri and Idul Adha are extended to a minimum of four working days, with the possibility of being extended to five working days.

"Previously, the government has established national holidays and collective leave in 2024. The determination of these holidays is stated in the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform."
The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK), Muhadjir Effendy, said there are 27 holidays. These holidays consist of 17 national holidays in 2024 and 10 collective leave days.
"Holiday and Leave for Idul Fitri"
The translation of the given 'Bahasa' text to 'English' while preserving any html tags is as follows: "Holiday for Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1445 H/2024 falls on 10-11 April 2024. Meanwhile, the joint leave for Hari Raya Idul Fitri falls on 8, 9, 12, 15 April."
Muhadjir Effendy stated that the designation of national holidays and collective leave in 2024 is intended as a guide for the community, the economic sector, and the private sector in conducting activities. In addition, it serves as a reference for ministries and government institutions in determining future work program planning.
