Dream - Muslims are commanded by Allah SWT to always pray. This activity is a form of communication between a servant and his Lord. In addition, it also shows that human life in this world is very much in need of Allah SWT. And Allah SWT is the Almighty over everything. Therefore, this life should be filled with worship and prayer to Allah SWT. There are many prayers that friends of Dream can practice in daily life with different virtues. There are even short prayers that are very special. What prayer is it?

Al-Abbas, the uncle of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), once said, "O Messenger of Allah, teach me a prayer." The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "O my uncle, recite: ‏أَلَلَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ‎ Allahumma Inni As Aluka Al-'Aafiyah." The word "Aafiyah" itself means to be saved from all difficulties faced. Here are some special benefits of reciting this short prayer:

To be healthy, we need to be in 'Aafiyah. To continue living in prosperity, we should be in 'Aafiyah. To hope for our children's protection, we should be in 'Aafiyah. To have sufficient material possessions, we must be in 'Aafiyah. So, the purpose of 'Aafiyah itself is to seek protection from Allah SWT from everything, such as difficulties, pain, and all suffering in this world and the hereafter.

Then, Al-Abbas came to the Prophet Muhammad again after a few days. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, this prayer seems a little short. I ask for something greater." Then, the Prophet Muhammad said, "O beloved uncle, ask Allah for 'Aafiyah, for you cannot be given anything better than 'Aafiyah. It is an easy yet best prayer."

Meaning: "O Allah, I seek safety from You in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness and safety in religion, the world, family, and wealth. O Allah, cover my private parts -Utsman mentioned it with these words- "My private parts, and protect me from fear. O Allah, protect me from the front, back, right side, left side, and from above. I seek refuge in You with Your greatness so that I am not attacked from below." Abu Dawud said, "Waki' said, 'The meaning is drowning.'" (Hadith Abu Dawud Number 4412)"
