Dream - Of the many phenomena of the end times, one thing that may not be realized is the abundance of people who are very quick to blame others. Is it true that this is included as a sign that we are already in the end times?
Many people easily blame others, so it seems that this phenomenon of blaming others has been prophesied by Prophet Muhammad SAW 14 centuries ago. However, in Islam, it is already clear that there is a prohibition against blaming or demeaning others.
From Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu 'anhu, the Prophet SAW said: "If someone says, 'People these days are already corrupted', then the person who said that is the most corrupted among them." (HR. Muslim)

"Prohibition of Blaming Others"
In the book "40 Hadiths of the Events of the End Times" by Ustadz Abu Ali Al-Banjari An-Nadwi, it is explained that the prohibition of belittling and blaming others is often expressed in such a way to feel proud of oneself by considering oneself better.
Indirectly, the person belittles others and considers themselves superior to them. Such an attitude is strictly prohibited in Islam, also known as haram. Imam Nawawi rahimahullah in the book Riyadus Shalihin also discusses the same matter.
However, if someone says 'Many people (nowadays) are already corrupted', it is based on their concern towards religion or a social issue experienced, then there is nothing wrong with that statement.
The following 'Bahasa' text translated to 'English' while preserving any html tags: "The hadith narrated by Muslim above actually intends to uncover the moral degradation that occurs in the end of times. Therefore, as Muslims, we should introspect and admonish ourselves, instead of blaming and belittling others."
"Psychological Perspective"
In this end times, many social phenomena emerge that have an impact on morality. The attitude of blaming others can apparently be understood from a psychological perspective. This attitude can occur because someone feels insecure or inferior. This condition happens to those who cannot accept their own shortcomings, so they project their mistakes or emotions onto others.
This is why we need to be careful in speaking. Guarding our language is very important for ourselves and others. When wanting to improve a situation, it is better to express it with polite and wise advice so that others do not feel belittled.
