They were briefly held in the detention room of the Denpasar Immigration Office before being repatriated to their home country. "We have already contacted the embassy to facilitate the repatriation and deportation process," said Ridha.
"Based on data from Denpasar Immigration, the mother and child entered Indonesian territory through Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten, on December 23, 2023. Their residence permit expires on January 21, 2024, so both have exceeded their stay permit (overstay) by 191 days."
The deportation process is reported to still be unable to proceed because it is waiting for the financial readiness of the representatives of that country to fund Kocong and his mother's return to their home country. In a video, Kocong admitted to coming from a broken home family.
