“After he brought it to me, I lost it because my house was bombed,” said Ali. Like the dreams of many children all over this Earth, Ali wants to be a football player. He wants to be a goalkeeper like his idol, Mohammad El-Shenawy, the Egyptian goalkeeper. “I want to meet him,” he said.

The war that broke out after the Hamas group's attack on Israel on October 7 has not yet subsided. Since that attack, Israel has even become increasingly indiscriminate.
