Dream - The young man's vision of catching a big fish was immediately shattered and turned into horror. This unforgettable experience happened when he was about to go fishing in a village in Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan.
In the incident that sent shivers down the spine on January 4th, a young man named Alwi discovered a hand sticking out from the ground.
The shocking incident was experienced by Alwi when he was about to go fishing in Sungai Cuka Village, Kintap District, Tanah Laut Regency.
At that time, Alwi was about to start his fishing trip. Accidentally, he found a hand reaching out from the ground. A sense of horror immediately enveloped his heart when he realized that the hand belonged to a corpse. Even more surprising, the corpse was not buried completely. Only half of its body was covered in soil.
Alwi himself is still traumatized by the terrible discovery. He almost couldn't believe it when he first saw it.
"The body of a man is buried there. I immediately called other residents to discuss the next steps."
"ujar Awi, yang sehari-harinya gemar memancing." translates to "said Awi, who enjoys fishing in his daily life."
Meanwhile, the Kintap Police Chief, Iptu M. Baysori, said that the human body was found in a location far from the highway. "Currently, we are still coordinating with the Tanah Bumbu Police Station to determine whether it falls within the Tanah Laut or Tanbu area," Baysori explained.
The identity of the unburied corpse has not yet been confirmed. There have been no reports of missing family members from the residents around the discovery of the corpse.
Polsek Kintap along with the residents are still waiting for the Inafis Reskrim team from Tanah Laut Police Resort to carry out the demolition.
"At present, we are still unable to identify this corpse. We will conduct further investigation and gather information from local residents to search for clues regarding the discovery of this male body."
Kintap Police Chief, Iptu M. Baysori
According to information, the location of the grave is far from settlements, but close to the former coal mining site. There are oil palm plants around the half-buried body, with a distance of 5km from the nearest village.
