Regarding popularity, there is no doubt. The Cendana Family members, who have always been in the spotlight since Soeharto came to power. Titiek's name never seems to fade even though her late father's New Order regime collapsed during the Reform era in 1998. Titiek's name is even mentioned in every election, as her ex-husband, Prabowo Subianto, has fought in the Presidential Election (Pilpres) four times starting from 2009.

In the temporary list on the KPU page, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 15.20 WIB, Titiek Soeharto gained 66,993 votes. However, her acquisition was not the highest in the electoral district. The votes obtained by Titiek Soeharto are still far behind the DPR candidate from the DIY electoral district named My Esti Wijayati. The candidate who advanced through the PDI Perjuangan party received 117,064 votes, or nearly twice as many as Titiek Soeharto.

My Esti Wijayanti is not an ordinary person. She is a member of the DPR for two periods who started from the DIY electoral district. The PDI Perjuangan politician made her way to the Senayan in the 2024 and 2019 elections. In this year's election, her chances of returning to the Senayan are open again. Gandung Pardiman occupied the third position as a candidate who garnered the most votes in DIY. This candidate from the Golkar Party obtained 55,819 votes.

Politician of PKB (National Awakening Party), Kaisar Abu Hanifah, sits in fourth place with 54,251 votes. He is followed by H. Sukamta, a politician of PKS (Prosperous Justice Party), who garnered 52,032 votes. H. Subardi is in sixth position. The politician from the NasDem Party (National Democratic Party) received 45,507 votes. Meanwhile, H. Totok Daryanto obtained 39,671 votes, placing him in seventh position.

However, the vote count is still subject to change. Because, the data is recorded when the KPU calculation at 15.06 WIB only completed 7,890 out of 11,932 or 66.12 percent of the polling stations in Yokyakarta.
