A viral recording shows a DKI Jakarta Dishub officer trying to stop a car but ends up trapped on the hood of the car as the driver speeds away.

The vehicle sped along quickly, the Dishub officer was still trapped on top of it while continuing to shout "danger hey danger." However, the driver, while shaking his car, maintained a high speed while asking in a challenging tone, "What's wrong with you, huh?"

The translation of "Kronologi Kejadian" to English is "Chronology of Events."

"Before the Dishub officer was trapped on top of the car hood, a video uploaded by the Instagram account @kabarnegri showed a scene where the Dishub officer was involved in an argument with the driver. They were debating with each other, and the officer was knocking on the car door while asking the driver to roll down the window and pull over to the side of the road."

"Syafrin Liputo, Head of DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, confirmed that the transportation officers involved are part of their team and they were assigned to monitor illegal parking in the Setiabudi area, South Jakarta. While carrying out their duties on Jalan Denpasar Raya, the driver of the car showed the middle finger to the officers."

At 3:30 PM WIB, the officers wanted to stop a rider who kept going back and forth while showing them the middle finger, intending to find out the reason behind the rider's behavior. "But the rider was uncooperative and chose to accelerate, almost hitting the officers. One of the officers, while trying to avoid the oncoming car, ended up being carried on its hood until taken to the Menteng area," said Syafrin.

The event did not stop there; the Avanza car even hit a motorcyclist but continued its journey at high speed without stopping. "There were two members of the public who tried to chase the perpetrator's car. Finally, these two individuals were able to stop the vehicle on Jalan Menteng, and members of the Satpelhub Kec Setiabudi arrived at the location, and the vehicle along with the driver was secured to the Polsek Setiabudi," said Syafrin. The issue was then resolved internally between both parties, and the driver has apologized to the Dishub officers," he continued.
