On the other hand, Mahuchikh's struggle to win a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics is also quite unique. The reason is that in February 2022, when the war between Russia and Ukraine began, Mahuchikh fled Ukraine in her car. Since then, she has lived and trained in various different countries, such as Portugal, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Estonia, and other countries in preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The athletics branch of the men's high jump event will hold the qualifying round on August 7, 2024, while the final round will take place on August 10.
