Applying Eyebrow Makeup According to Nose and Eye Shape, for a More Natural Look

Dream - Everyone applies eyebrow makeup differently, including makeup artists (MUA). Usually, the eyebrow arch is used as a guide for applying makeup. 

It turns out that Fitri Liza, a professional MUA, determines the shape of the eyebrows based on other facial features, such as the nose and eyes. Following the shape of these two facial features will make it easier to shape the eyebrows even if the client does not have thick eyebrows. The method of determining the shape is also very easy.

To determine the front part of the eyebrows, draw a line parallel to the outer side of the nostrils. Usually, the front part of the eyebrows will not be longer than their original shape.

The angle of the eyebrows can be determined by drawing a line parallel to the outer edge of the eyeball. Make sure the eyes are facing forward or at eye level first to ensure the accuracy of the angle points.

Lastly, determine the end of the eyebrows by drawing a diagonal line from the outer side of the nostrils to the outer corner of the eyebrows.

Start framing the eyebrows from the lower corner of the eyebrows to the outer end of the eyebrows. Draw a line from the front of the eyebrows to the lower corner.

Continue framing the eyebrows at the top in the same way. Start from the corner to the back. Slowly draw a line from the corner to the front of the eyebrows.

Fill in the inner part of the eyebrows with a shading technique. Focus on the back part. Also, sharpen the edges of the eyebrows to make the makeup look neater. Use brow pomade to fill in the eyebrows for a thicker appearance, then blend the color using a spoolie brush.

Tidy up the shape of the eyebrows with concealer or corrector and a brush. The result will look smooth and not excessive.
