Makeup Artist Does Her Own Wedding Makeup, the Result is Impressive

Dream - Many makeup artists (MUA) do their own makeup on their wedding day. They can save costs while creating the desired makeup look.

Just like what MUA Retno Setianingsih did. Not only did she do her own makeup, but she also organized her wedding down to the smallest details.

"Alhamdulillah, this year I managed to do my own makeup and use my own decorations and clothes," she wrote in her TikTok post.

In the post, she started the makeup process by praying and applying base makeup. Retno also shared about the wedding ceremony and the traditional events that she handled herself. She was satisfied with the result of her hard work.

"I'm so independent on my special day, I even did my own hijab, mashallah alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah, not only can I do makeup for other people's weddings but also for my own wedding," she wrote.

While telling her story, Retno applied pink eyeshadow, created winged eyeliner, applied false eyelashes, used powder, and did her eyebrows. She also applied blush pink, contour, highlighter, and nude ombre lipstick on her face.

While wearing a traditional Javanese hair bun, arranging her hijab, and wearing a siger (traditional Javanese headdress), she thanked her assistants who contributed to the success of the wedding event.

"Behind the success of my event, there's a team and my assistants who helped make the event go as planned. Thank you to the retnobataririas team, may we always be healthy and have smooth blessings," she concluded.
