Dream - Maybe Dream friends have often made various types of ombre lips. The most commonly made styles are regular ombre lips and reversed ombre lips.
Apart from those two styles, there is also the tanghulu lips which has been trending recently. This trend is characterized by glossy and fresh lip makeup. The makeup is very similar to ombre lips, but with a fresher appearance. Want to know how to imitate this trend? Try following the tutorial from Beauty Content Creator, the owner of Instagram account @beansauna, below.
"1. Prepare 3 Lip Products"
Sahabat Dream needs 3 lip products to create this trend. Among them are bright and dark velvet-textured lip tints for creating ombre lips. Make sure the lip products used to create ombre lips do not cause dryness, can leave a strong enough stain, and have similar undertones. Additionally, prepare a transparent lip gloss that can provide a super dewy finish.
2. Use Lip Balm
Use lip balm first before applying lipstick to prevent your lips from getting dry easily and making the lipstick application patchy after using it for a while.
3. Use Loose Powder
After leaving the lip balm for a while, remove the remaining product using a tissue. Then, take a little loose powder and apply it to the entire surface of the lips using a puff.
4. Use Bright Lip Tint
Apply a bright colored lip tint as the base for ombre. If necessary, apply a little beyond the lip line to create an overlined lips style.
5. Use Dark Lip Tint
Apply a dark-colored lip tint on the inner part of the lips using a brush to ensure evenness and a neater gradient. After that, let it sit for a few moments until the lip tint color is fully absorbed and do not purse your lips.
6. Use Colorless Lip Gloss
"After the lip tint color leaves a stain and perfectly absorbs onto the lips, apply colorless lip gloss on top of it."
The result of applying those 3 products makes the appearance of the lips as if coated with a sugar solution like tanghulu. Tanghulu itself is a typical Thai snack made by dipping fruit into a sugar solution. The fruit on tanghulu looks 'glowing' due to the hardened sugar coating.
