Heru said, the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta has determined the adjustment of UMP 2024 following the provisions in Government Regulation Number 51 of 2023. Considering the proposals from both parties, the DKI Regional Government has set the highest alpha at 0.3 in accordance with PP number 51 of 2023. "The DKI Regional Government cannot exceed the government regulation that has been established, which is a maximum alpha of 0.3," he added.

"Previously, Heru Budi Hartono affirmed that the Jakarta Provincial Government will establish UMP 2024 based on Government Regulation Number 51 of 2023."

Head of the Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Agency, Hari Nugroho, said that the recommended Jakarta UMP for 2024 from employers is around Rp5 million.
