Dream - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, said the government will distribute social assistance (bansos) in the form of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) for Food Risk Mitigation to the poor community.
The following 'Bahasa' text translated to 'English' while preserving any html tags: "This BLT is given amounting to Rp600,000 and will start to be distributed in March or coinciding with the month of Ramadan."
"The food supply will continue, we will also implement the BLT (cash assistance program) for Ramadan."

Airlangga explained, this Food BLT will be given to 18.8 million beneficiary families (KPM).
Initially, this social assistance was supposed to be given in February 2024, but due to conflicts with the distribution of El Nino BLT, the distribution is postponed to March.
Furthermore, Airlangga emphasizes that the Food Risk Mitigation BLT is different from the El-Nino BLT. However, due to the continued increase in food prices, intervention from the Government is needed to maintain the purchasing power of the community.
"That is the food risk mitigation because food prices have indeed relatively increased, that's why we have seen it, that's why we prepared the cash aid earlier," said Airlangga."
As information, the amount of Food Risk BLT provided by the government is Rp200,000 per month given for 3 months from January, February, and March 2023. As for the payment, it will be given at once amounting to Rp600,000.
