Dream - Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN-RB), Abdullah Azwar Anas, said the number of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) moving to the Nusantara Capital (IKN) will be reduced to 6,000 people from the original plan of 11,916 people.

The change is made due to the inadequate availability of space. Anas mentioned that currently there are only 47 towers in IKN, where one tower contains 60 residential units for civil servants, military/police personnel, level I officials, and others.

According to Anas, this is in accordance with the direction of the Minister of State Secretary (Mensetneg) Pratikno. He also reasoned that the postponement of the civil servant relocation was due to the fact that some areas will be used for the celebration of August 17th.

Anas mentioned that the transfer of civil servants will be divided into three priorities. The first is 179 level I officials from 38 ministries/agencies, including the Ministry of Trade. Then the second priority is 91 level I officials from 29 ministries/agencies, and the third is 378 level I officials from 59 ministries/agencies.

"The total number of people who will move to level I have already prepared a place for husband and wife in that place. While waiting for the completed tower, some of our friends can share sharing, while later we will have three stages: short-term, medium-term, and long-term,""

Anas said.

The concept of ministries and institutions in IKN is also different from Jakarta. Here, civil servants will work very effectively with an electronic system basis. "The office will also not be like our current office, where each person has their own desk. In the future, the concept will be sharing, so the government system based on electronic will be implemented, the working system will also be based on sharing office, sharing system, and so on," he said.
