Dream - President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Nicke Widyawati, once again made it onto the list of the 100 Most Powerful Women in the World according to Forbes in 2023. She is ranked 51st. Not only Nicke, but also Finance Minister Sri Mulyani made it onto Forbes' list this year at 47th place. The top position is held by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

"Penilaian Forbes" translates to "Forbes Rating" in English.

Forbes explains that the list of influential women is determined based on four main metrics, namely income, media, impact, and scope of influence.

"For political leaders, we consider gross domestic product and population, for corporate leaders, income and number of employees; and media mentions and reach all."

Nicke Widyawati assesses that the award cannot be separated from the support of all stakeholders, management, and employees of Pertamina throughout Indonesia.

"I am grateful and thankful for the good assessment and recognition from the International community towards Pertamina. This award serves as motivation to continue working even better in maintaining national energy resilience and achieving success in the energy transition towards Net Zero Emission."

Forbes called when Indonesia becomes the president of G20 in 2022, Nicke Widyawati successfully carries out the mandate as the Chair of the Task Force Energy, Sustainability and Climate.

Quoting from Merdeka.com, Nicke successfully brought three main recommendations, namely Acceleration of Transition for Sustainable Energy, Ensuring the Right and Just Transition, and Energy Affordability. As the CEO of State-Owned Enterprises, Nicke always supports the decisions of the Indonesian government.
