"Festival Mother's Dream 2023, Realize Mother's Dream to be More Empowered on Special Day"

Dream - Welcome to Mother's Day, which is commemorated every December 22nd, Mother Has a Dream (IPM), a community-based empowerment startup dedicated to empowering mothers, successfully held the Mother's Dream Festival (FEMPI). The event, which consisted of various series of events, took place from November and ended on December 10, 2023.

The FEMPI series started with the #ibubicaradata competition, which was participated by 60 mothers who created content about empowering mothers based on data. It continued until the virtual event's peak last week with a series of activities such as Master Class, Alumni Day, Awarding, and the Launching of IPM Agency.

FEMPI is the only event in the homeland that celebrates the journey of dreams of Indonesian mothers twice a year, precisely in April and December. This year also marks the fourth year of FEMPI being held.

Holding an annual event close to the moment of Mother's Day, FEMPI certainly wants to highlight the empowering role of mothers for themselves and in society. As discussed in the Master Class with the theme "Scaling Up: Strategies for Sustainable Growth" with speaker Dina Dellyana, a mother who works as the Director of the Business Incubator at SBM ITB and a musician.

In that session, she emphasized the importance of self-development for mothers and sharing valuable insights that combine her experiences over the years. "When we successfully build something desired, for example, when we encounter problems in our business, there is a first tool that we can use, namely design thinking, an effective method for finding solutions," expressed Dina.

"Semangat diri" translates to "Self-motivation" in English.

According to him, the method can be used on a self-development scale for mothers, which can reduce the possibility of failure or giving up halfway.

The presence of this festival not only celebrates the achievements of the mothers who have undergone extraordinary transformations, but also welcomes all mothers who aspire to embark on a journey of self-improvement, one of them by joining empowering communities such as IPM. As experienced by Naysila, the winner of the #ibubicaradata Competition in the Data Visualization category.

"Raih mimpi yang sempat tertunda" translates to "Reach the dreams that were once postponed" in English.

"Thanks to FEMPI, I am increasingly confident that a mother still has the opportunity to pursue her dreams that may have been delayed, as I am currently experiencing," said Naysilla.

Naysialla is known to have temporarily stopped working from her profession as a Data Analyst at an Automotive company to focus on taking care of her first child who needed surgery at the age of nine months. Now, after a career break, Naysila chooses to become a Business Mother, building a Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) business in the accessory segment "Cling Cling Bling" and the culinary segment "Pentol NYOSSS". Becoming a businesswoman is one of the preferred professions for many mothers because of its flexible working hours and the ability to work from home.

The presence of Masterclass at FEMPI is expected to help Indonesian mothers prepare for the provisions to realize their dreams in 2024.
