Telling the story of former CIA agent, Peter Devereux, who has a mission to investigate a war crime case involving one of the Russian presidential candidates. In his surveillance, Devereux discovers the fact that there is CIA involvement in the case he is currently investigating.

"In the beginning of the story, Devereux was assigned the task of protecting an ambassador who was on duty in Montenegro. For this mission, he worked together with his subordinate, David Mason. However, unfortunately, at one point David Mason had to disappoint Devereux when trying to protect the ambassador from an assassination attempt."

After retiring, Devereux was asked to rejoin the CIA to investigate the case of the murder of 3 CIA agents allegedly killed by a Russian killer on the orders of the Russian presidential candidate, Arkady Federov. In the end, Devereux accepted the offer and worked together with another agent named Natalia.
