Apart from featuring Anya, this series also introduces the characters Loid Forger and Yor Briar as a "unique" family that always brings various funny behaviors. Loid, who works as a secret agent, then builds a "family" to carry out his mission. He also adopts a child named Anya who throughout season 1 shows her cuteness. Anya also has special abilities.

To complete the family, Loid then met Yor, whom he invited to pretend to be a family and work together. However, unbeknownst to Loid, Yor is actually an assassin for hire.
