Already in the Holy Land but Forgot the Hajj Rituals? Pilgrims Can Now Consult Online

Dream - Hajj pilgrims in Mecca no longer need to worry about the management of worship during their stay in the Holy Land. After receiving the hajj rituals before departure, all pilgrims can receive guidance on the rituals from the worship guides of the group or the worship consultants of the Indonesian Hajj Organizing Officials (PPIH) in Saudi Arabia in 1444 H/2023 AD.

Not only face-to-face, Head of the Guidance Section for Worship in the Mecca Region, Zulkarnain Nasution, said that pilgrims can also easily get offline guidance.

"To facilitate the pilgrims, this worship consultation service is designed to be able to be done offline and online," said Zulkarnain in Mecca, Sunday, June 4, 2023, quoted from Kemenag.go.id.

For offline mechanisms, the consultants and guides have been assigned to provide worship consultation services in their respective sector areas. Consultants at the Mecca Daker office will also regularly visit each sector to provide guidance.

Meanwhile, the online guidance mechanism will be served by distributing the telephone numbers of the consultants to all pilgrims through the PPIH group. "So that pilgrims can easily consult," he said.

According to Zulkarnain, worship is the core service in the organization of the Hajj, so every pilgrim is required to equip themselves with knowledge of the rituals. The worship guidance process is also important so that pilgrims can understand the process of organizing the Hajj and are expected to be able to carry it out independently.

"The Ministry of Religion has provided guidance on the rituals since in the homeland. However, the level of pilgrims' understanding varies. Therefore, the guidance process continues to be carried out when the pilgrims are in the Holy Land," said Zulkarnain.

The government has appointed a total of 26 worship consultants and guides who are assigned to the Mecca Daker. Four people are placed in the Daker office, while others are placed in each sector of the pilgrims' residential area, including the area of the Masjid al-Haram.

"These worship consultants are kyai, academics, and hajj practitioners who have the competence to provide consultation services on hajj-related issues," explained Zulkarnain.

He hopes that the presence of worship consultants and guides can be maximized by the pilgrims in understanding the hajj rituals. Good understanding is expected to facilitate pilgrims in worship and lead them to achieve blessings.

"All problems faced by the pilgrims related to worship must be resolved before returning to the homeland. The consultants and guides are here to help the pilgrims in that matter," he said.
