Collection of Ethnic Accessories Inspired by Borobudur and Batik Kawung

Dream - The cultural wealth of Indonesia, including its architectural heritage and textile art, has long been a source of inspiration. Such as the iconic Borobudur Temple and the Kawung batik from Yogyakarta.

These two things inspired Amero Jewellery to create the Lavani Series. It is an accessory that takes the nuances of Borobudur and Batik Kawung as the characteristic of Indonesia.

"This year we are exploring the beauty of Borobudur again, presented in the form of a new collection and will be showcased through the Simfoni Lavani performance," said Peter Agus Wijaya, CEO of Amero Jewellery in a statement received by Dream.

In this collection, Amero Jewellery takes inspiration from the Dove Tail, a symbol of unity and grandeur. This symbolism reflects the idea that cultural wealth can harmoniously integrate into everyday life.

Rhombus Element and Batik Kawung

The Lavani collection combines design elements such as Rhombus and Batik Kawung to interpret Borobudur as a complete and intact civilization.

Rhombus, inspired by the geometric structure found in Borobudur, provides a modern and elegant touch.

The Lavani Series is created to depict the beauty of Borobudur and Batik Kawung in various forms of jewelry. From rings, elegant earrings, magnificent bracelets, to necklaces and pendants.

Dream - Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton paid their final tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Hall, London on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Along with Prince Harry and Prince William, they attended the funeral procession of the Queen.

Kate and Meghan were seen wearing all-black attire complemented with jewelry that has a special connection to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

 

Meghan Markle, who holds the title of Duchess of Sussex, was seen wearing a pair of pearl earrings given by the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Meanwhile, Catherine, Princess of Wales, also known as Kate, wore jewelry given to her by the matriarch of the royal family.

Kate was seen wearing a leaf-shaped pearl brooch belonging to the Queen, which she previously wore to South Korea. The wife of Prince William was also seen wearing pearl earrings belonging to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

Meghan and Kate did not provide any statements regarding the Queen's passing. However, their names were mentioned when their husbands gave speeches during the Queen's funeral procession.

"Grandmother, while this final farewell brings us great sorrow, I am forever grateful for all our first meetings — from my childhood memories with you, to meeting you for the first time as my Commander, to the moment you met my beloved wife and embraced your beloved great-grandchild. I cherish the moments spent with you, and many other special moments in between," said Prince Harry.

Meanwhile, Prince William wrote in his statement: "So much will be said in the days to come about the meaning of her historic reign. However, I have lost a grandmother. And while I mourn her, I also feel incredibly thankful. I have benefited from the Queen's wisdom and certainty throughout my fifth decade.

"My wife has had twenty years of guidance and support. Our three children have spent holidays with her and created lifelong memories."
