Dream - Daihatsu officially introduced the latest generation of Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) Hatchback model, the 'All New Astra Daihatsu Ayla,' on February 15, 2023, in Senayan, Jakarta.

President Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, Yasushi Kyoda, said that Astra Daihatsu Ayla has been trusted by 268 thousand customers in Indonesia. Astra Daihatsu Ayla has been present for a decade in Indonesia since 2013.

"We are happy that Astra Daihatsu Ayla has been trusted by more than 268 thousand customers as their vehicle. We believe that the All New Astra Daihatsu Ayla can be the most suitable vehicle for customers, especially as their first vehicle, and can contribute to the automotive industry in Indonesia," he said.

The All New Ayla also becomes the third DNGA model from Daihatsu in Indonesia after Rocky and Xenia, which were launched in 2021.

New Platform

The All New Astra Daihatsu Ayla is now equipped with a new platform based on DNGA (Daihatsu New Global Architecture). So it has various advantages such as the latest technology, high quality, affordable price, and more efficient.

In terms of performance, the All New Astra Daihatsu Ayla is now equipped with 2 new engine options, namely the 1.2L WA-VE and 1.0L VVT-i, which are claimed to provide responsive acceleration and high torque even at low RPM.

The All New Ayla is also equipped with D-CVT (Dual Mode Continuously Variable Transmission), making vehicle acceleration smoother and fuel more efficient.

Safety

Regarding safety, the All New Astra Daihatsu Ayla is equipped with the latest safety technology, such as Dual SRS Airbags, Safety Seat Belt Reminder for the driver and passengers.

Then HSA (Hill Start Assist) which functions to prevent the car from rolling back when on an incline for a certain period of time, and VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) which functions to maintain vehicle stability while driving by detecting and preventing tire slip conditions (oversteer and understeer) in turning areas.

In terms of design, the exterior appearance of the All New Astra Daihatsu Ayla looks powerful and aggressive, plus the new alloy wheel design makes the appearance of the All New Ayla even more modern and aerodynamic.
