"In Japan, fashion trends change about every six months, because the seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter are different. Layering

This Y2K style presents a millennium pop style with a retro touch. Layered outfits, including jackets, are one example.

"Layered and multi-layered outfits are currently a trend. For example, people usually wear a single layer sleeveless top. Now, the trend is to mix and match two layers with contrasting colors," explained Sasanami.

Silhouette

The clothing silhouette currently favored by the Japanese people is a combination of tight and loose outfits.

"So the silhouette is tighter at the top and looser at the bottom. High-waisted is also currently a trend," added Sasanami.

Colors that Will Become a Trend

The colors of clothing change every year, and the color that will become a trend in Japan is green.

"Green will be a trend next year. Green is usually worn in winter and autumn. But this year, it will be tried for spring and summer," added Sasanami.

Presenting fashion items with a touch of Japanese and Indonesian culture, Lumine has opened a pop-up store in Astha District 8.

The Japanese aesthetic is presented with visuals inspired by the landscape of Tokyo, such as the subway, tall buildings, and even people on the streets of Tokyo.
