Leaked Form of Mitsubishi XFC Concept Production Version

Dream - PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) has just unveiled the XFC Concept, a compact SUV concept car at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2023.

Many are curious about what the production version of the XFC Concept will look like. Is it completely different?

Director of Product Strategy Division at PT MMKSI, Hikaru Mii, said that Mitsubishi will retain the main design of the XFC Concept. It will be very similar to the mass production version.

"If you like it, I'm sure the production version will also be liked. Of course, we will do our best," said Hikaru Mii at IIMS 2023, JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Friday, February 17, 2023.

Regarding when the production version of the Mitsubishi XFC Concept will be introduced in Indonesia, Hikaru Mii stated that it will only be done in fiscal year 2024.

"As Nakamura said at the beginning of 2024. Yes, that's the plan," he said,

The Mitsubishi XFC Concept is a stylish and sporty SUV that is said to have improved handling due to its combination of high ground clearance and large diameter wheels.

Its front adopts the dynamic shield concept like other new Mitsubishi cars. The main headlights are shaped like 'L' and are positioned above the stacked daytime running lights, so when they are turned on, they will appear like the letter 'T'.

The interior is claimed to offer ease of operation for the driver, with a horizontally designed instrument panel to facilitate sensing the changes in the car's posture on rough roads.

There are four driving modes in this car, namely normal, wet, gravel, and mud. The wet mode is described as being first introduced in a Mitsubishi car, designed to adapt to the rainy and flood-prone ASEAN region.

In addition to IIMS 2023, MMKSI will also introduce the Mitsubishi XFC Concept to the wider public through a roadshow in six major cities in Indonesia throughout March to April 2023, starting from Pekanbaru, Medan, Palembang, Bandung, Surabaya, and Semarang.
