Peek at the Elegant Eid Fashion Collection with Lace Accents

Dream - Fashion parade Garis Poetih initiated by Ivan Gunawan on February 16, 2023, at Gallery Ciputra, last Thursday attracted the attention of modest fashion lovers. Featuring designs by local fashion designers who have prepared their latest collection for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr.

One of them is from the brand Benang Jarum Couture who created a collection with the theme The Momentous Elegance. The design highlighted in this collection is an elegant and luxurious nuance.

There are 32 looks presented with various elegant details and accents. Starting from embroidered shirts, statement outerwear, to embellished dresses, using several typical materials from Benang Jarum Couture. Such as lace embroidery and tulle.

There are also additional timeless accents, such as puff sleeves, which make this collection look more feminine. Meanwhile, in terms of color, The Momentous Elegance plays with timeless colors, such as ivory, champagne, blush, and black.

Dream - Ivan Gunawan held a fashion show titled Garis Poetih at Ciputra Artpreneur Gallery Karet Kuningan, South Jakarta on February 15, 2023. Garis Poetih is a fashion parade platform initiated by Ivan, aiming to unite all fashion actors and creative industries in one fashion show and exhibition installation.

"Garis Poetih is a fashion platform that I create. This is my first season," said Ivan Gunawan in Jakarta, Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

In this event, Ivan released the 2023 Eid collection for Mandjha Hijab with the theme Cahaya (Light). This Cahaya theme is inspired by Middle Eastern culture, consisting of ethnic motifs and silhouettes, as well as the architecture in Petra, Jordan.

"Initially, I was inspired by the stone doors in Jordan and the atmosphere of the desert there. The light atmosphere in the desert I present through the replica of sunlight that can be seen in the motif of this collection," said Ivan.

For this collection, Mandja Hijab presents a total of 52 collections. Consisting of 40 women's fashion collections and 12 men's fashion collections.

"My collection has a relaxed look, using chiffon with thin lines, so my collection is very light and easy to carry while traveling. Very lightweight," he said.

For this collection, Mandjha Hijab offers various silhouette options, both loose-fitting and fitted, to create a slim impression for the wearer. Ivan also revealed that due to the high demand for Mandjha Hijab, he provides clothing in sizes that can be worn by anyone.

"This time I made it free size with a loose model. So it can be worn by those who usually wear sizes S to double XL," he said.

There are three main signature color themes for the 2023 Raya Collection, namely the ash grey nuance combined with a touch of yellow smoke and pink powder.

"The motifs on the clothes are derived from sun motifs that I have transformed into beautiful motifs," said Ivan.

On the other hand, Ivan admitted that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of his clothes will be donated to the mosque he is building in Uganda.

"I intend to use part of the proceeds for Uganda. I want to see my mosque directly, I want to bring orders for calligraphy, prayer rugs, and prayer garments. I want to go to Uganda to beautify the mosque there," said Ivan.
