Princess Diana's old purple dress is part of the Autumn 1989 Edelstein collection. The dress was featured in a painting by Douglas Hardinge Anderson in 1991 and a Franklin Mint doll in 1998.

In addition to the purple dress, Princess Diana's midnight blue "Travolta Dress," a long velvet dress famous for her dance with an actor at the White House, was also sold for a high price. The dress was sold for £264,000 in 2019 for charity after a failed auction.
