Dream - The Indonesian Cyber Media Association (AMSI) has launched a content aggregator named Amsinews that can accommodate various content from around 450 members spread across 27 provinces. This aggregator is expected to help expand audience reach and increase awareness.

"Amsinews is a 3 in 1 platform because it covers 3 issues, namely content distribution, advertising agencies, and content management systems," said Suwarjono, the Responsible Person for the Aggregator Program, at the Indonesia Digital Conference (IDC) 2023 held by AMSI at Hotel El Royale, Bandung, West Java on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

According to Suwarjono, who is also the Deputy Chairman of AMSI, this Amsinews aggregator is not only launched but can also run immediately and is supported by all AMSI members.

"In this soft launching, we also start the integration of several media that have registered to join this aggregator," he said.

Heru Tjatur, Chairman of the Aggregator Developer Team, added that the presence of this aggregator aims to share resources for mutual progress. The resources referred to are technical resources to manage infrastructure and media publishing platform technology.

"Also economic resources to create a joint business model for the digital media ecosystem," he explained.

In more detail, Tjatur said that AMSI members who are part of this aggregator will be provided with media CMS. Support is also provided in the form of infrastructure and platform provision.

"Even 10 templates will be prepared that can be chosen later," he said.

The incoming content data will be pulled and inserted into the Amsinews.id aggregator. The content of Amsinews will be distributed through aggregator widgets per category or specific issues.

The IDC 2023 program and the AMSI Awards 2023 are part of AMSI's cooperation program with Internews and USAID MEDIA to build media business sustainability in Indonesia.

In this year's event, IDC and AMSI Awards also received support from PT Astra International Tbk, PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero), Mining Industry Indonesia (MIND ID), PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Pertamina (Persero), PT Adaro Energy Tbk, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk, Bank BJB, Harita Nickel, PT XL Axiata Tbk, and Minderoo Foundation.
