BSI Maslahat Distributes Rp10 Billion for Ramadan 1444H Program

Dream - BSI Maslahat, a strategic partner of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI), will distribute Rp10 billion for the Ramadan 1444H program.

The total distribution until April 10, 2023 amounts to Rp5 billion. The funds are distributed through nine representative offices, namely Aceh, Medan, Palembang, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Banjarmasin, and Makassar.

The theme raised by BSI Maslahat for this year is "Spreading Goodness in Ramadan 1444H." The activities carried out include zakat and waqf services, as well as the distribution of Iftar and Suhoor Sharing programs, Eid Package Sharing, and Qurma Sharing (Quran Maslahat).

Other activities include Fitrah Zakat, Maal Zakat, and Fidyah services. In addition, there is also Productive Waqf to help the community's economy.

Executive Director of BSI Maslahat, Sukoriyanto Saputro, expressed gratitude to the donors, customers, and all stakeholders who participated in the Ramadan 1444H activities. 

"We hope that in the future, BSI Maslahat can continue to spread goodness that can be done during Ramadan by BSI Maslahat," said Sukoriyanto in a press release quoted on Friday, April 14, 2023.

In distributing the Iftar and Suhoor Sharing program, BSI Maslahat collaborates with mosques, boarding schools, orphanages, disability institutions, and other social institutions. 

Program Distribution

In addition, the BSI Maslahat team also directly participates in several public facilities, such as terminals, stations, hospitals, and several rest areas, to distribute iftar to those in need. 

Up to now, 10,000 iftar and suhoor packages have been distributed for Jakarta and its surroundings.

Meanwhile, Eid Package Sharing is distributed in the form of basic necessities and THR (Eid allowance) for orphans. The beneficiaries of the Eid package sharing include people with disabilities, da'is, Quran activists, orphans, and underprivileged people who are in need throughout Indonesia. 

Mudik Service

Eid Package THR assistance is given in the form of cash and Eid parcels. BSI Maslahat targets 8,000 beneficiaries for the Eid Package Sharing program.

Qurma Sharing (Quran Maslahat) will be distributed to mosques, Quran learning centers, and boarding schools throughout Indonesia. The Qurma program helps eradicate illiteracy of the Quran and improve the understanding of Indonesian Muslims by providing translated Qurans.

BSI Maslahat also collaborates with BSI to provide Mudik (homecoming) services for Java Island. In addition to Mudik services, free healthcare services are also provided for travelers at several stopping points.
