Impactful Bureaucracy Expedition Series, Acting Governor of Banten Al Muktabar Hands Over Assistance to Residents

Dream - Acting Governor of Banten Al Muktabar invited all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in the Province of Banten to visit South Banten on August 25 to 26, 2023. This visit is titled "Impactful Bureaucracy Expedition."

On this occasion, Al Muktabar reminded all attending officials to carry out impactful bureaucratic tasks.

"With bureaucracy, the state must be present among the people. Therefore, I named the activity Impactful Bureaucracy Expedition. God willing, it will continue to be carried out," said Al Muktabar in a written statement on Monday, August 28, 2023.

On the first day of the event, Al Muktabar and his entourage traveled along the Rangkasbitung, Cileles, Gunung Kencana, and Bayah toll roads. Al Muktabar had a dialogue with several figures from South Banten upon arriving in Bayah.

Then he continued his journey by attending the Seren Taun Kasepuhan Cisungsang event on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

He was welcomed by thousands of indigenous people from various villages who had gathered in the Cisungsang Customary Area.

Accompanied by the Acting Secretary of the Provincial Government of Banten Virgojanti and Deputy Regent of Lebak Ade Sumardi, Al Muktabar was accompanied by a cultural parade typical of Cisungsang.

Upon arriving at Imah Gede Kasepuhan Cisungsang, the former Chairman of the Association of Widyasawara was welcomed by the Chairman of the Cisungsang Customary Figures, Abah Usep Suyatma Sr.

Then Al Muktabar participated in the Seren Taun tradition and witnessed Kaolotan performing a ritual by putting rice as a symbol of the harvest into the Leuit Adat.

After the Seren Taun ritual, a Saresehan was held with the indigenous community at Bale Riung. In front of thousands of people, Al Muktabar introduced all attending Heads of OPDs.

On this occasion, Al Muktabar provided assistance from various OPDs in the form of cash, red ginger seeds, motorized pedicab assistance, sheep livestock, and mosque construction.

Abah Usep, who was present during the traditional ritual and the ceremonial offering, symbolically received the assistance. He expressed appreciation to the Acting Governor of Banten for caring about the Cisungsang Customary Area.

"We are very grateful to the Acting Governor of Banten for his care. We hope that the government can consider the water needs in the Cisungsang indigenous area," said Abah Usep.

After the traditional ceremony, the entourage laid the first stone for the construction of Masjid Al Muktabar. "We named the mosque Masjid Al Muktabar. The reason is that the community wants to express gratitude to the Acting Governor of Banten for fulfilling the people's wishes," he said.

The Acting Secretary of the Banten Provincial Government, Virgojanti, explained that in addition to providing assistance to the Cisungsang Customary Area, this event also provided assistance to the Cicarucub community in Cibeber District.

On this occasion, the Acting Governor of Banten also emphasized the importance of the state's presence in supporting healthcare facilities, food availability, and educational facilities.

They conducted monitoring and evaluation by reviewing the construction of a hospital in Cilograng District, drainage in Bayah District, as well as reviewing the provincial takeover of district roads.
