Intention to Release Snakes in the Bamboo Forest River in Kuningan, Panji Petualang Encounters a Black King Cobra, There is a Wound on Its Head

Dream - Panji Petualang, a reptile handler, once again shows an intense action when exploring the bamboo forest river in Kuningan, West Java, which is still pristine and natural.

The thrilling exploration was recorded in a video that was aired on the Adventurer's Banner YouTube channel on March 11, 2023.

Initially, Panji Petualang, along with two reptile friends, Rinto and Opick, explored the bamboo forest to release Rinto's king cobra snake.

The three of them tried to find an area in the forest that was densely covered with bamboo trees near a small, natural river.

Panji Petualang said that releasing a king cobra snake should not be done carelessly. The area where the king cobra snake is released must be free from other snakes.

This means that the area should not be the domain or territory of other king cobra snakes that have been living in the wild for a longer time.

The problem is, if Rinto's king cobra snake is released in a place where there are already inhabitants, there will be a territorial dispute.

Therefore, Panji Petualang tried to find an area that was completely free from previous inhabitants.

After exploring the dense forest, they finally found a suitable place, which was in the area near the bamboo trees by the river.

"This is great. This is perfect, there are no snakes here. Next, if we want to release the babies, we can do it in this area. We didn't find any snakes in this area," said Panji Petualang.

"These bamboo trees are suitable for the release. We can use them to release the snakes, far away from residential areas," added Panji Petualang.

To ensure that the area near the bamboo trees was safe for releasing Rinto's snake, Panji Petualang invited the two reptiles to inspect the flow of the river below.

However, when inspecting the river beneath the dense bamboo trees, Panji Petualang and his group found a black king cobra snake.

Rinto and Opick quickly moved ahead of Panji Petualang to capture the black king cobra snake in the bamboo forest river.

It turned out that the newly found king cobra snake was very large in size. Because it was still wild, the king cobra snake appeared aggressive and fierce.

Rinto almost got bitten by the king cobra snake that inhabited the bamboo forest river several times.

"We found another big king cobra snake in the bamboo forest area that we passed by," said Panji Petualang.

Panji Petualang said that at first he saw the giant king cobra snake resembling bamboo. However, he was surprised when what he thought was bamboo started moving along the flow of the river.

According to Panji Petualang, the black cobra snake found in the bamboo forest river is female. The snake's body appears plump, and its length is estimated to be about three meters.

"This one is about three meters long, and it's really big, very plump," explained Panji while lifting the body of the king cobra snake together with Rinto and Opick.

However, Panji Petualang regretted the presence of a fairly serious wound right above the snake's head, between its eyes.

Panji Petualang suspects that the still visible red wound is likely the result of being hit by residents when the king cobra snake entered the village.

Finally, the large black king cobra snake was taken to Rinto's shelter to receive treatment for the wound on its head.
