Kemenhub Holds Free Homecoming 2023, Check Destination Cities, Requirements and How to Register Here

Dream - The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) is holding a free homecoming during Eid al-Fitr 2023. Registration is open from March 13, 2023, to April 14, 2023. This free homecoming is intended to reduce the number of accidents during the homecoming period.

"Registration is open from March 13 to April 14, 2023, and will be closed when the quota is full," wrote the announcement from Kemenhub on the Instagram account @ditjen_hubdat.

For those who want to register for Kemenhub's free homecoming in 2023, you can download the MitraDarat application on the Play Store or App Store.

Participants must have valid identification documents at the time of registration, such as ID cards, driver's licenses, and family cards, and can only choose one destination city for the homecoming.

Requirements for Free Homecoming by Kemenhub

1. If participants will participate in the return homecoming, the registration for the return flow will be done simultaneously with the registration for the outbound flow, with the condition that the chosen destination city for the homecoming has the option of a return flow. And participants can only join the return flow according to the destination city for the outbound flow.

2. Participants are given a period of 7 days after the registration date to perform registration or revalidation at the designated post,

3. If participants fail to revalidate within 7 days, their data will be considered invalid or expired. As a result, the quota will automatically increase. The government will Increase the Budget for Free Homecoming during Eid al-Fitr in 2023

4. Participants who fail to revalidate cannot register again because their ID number will be blocked by the system to give a chance to other participants who want to register or have not obtained a quota for the homecoming or return flow.

5. Participants who return home with a motorcycle must bring the required vehicle documents and submit the motorcycle according to the designated date, which is 1 day before the ceremonial bus departure date,

7. Participants of the Eid al-Fitr homecoming must arrive at least 1 hour before departure.

1. How to log in to the MitraDarat application

• Click the 'Login' button

• Enter your email address/Google account

• Enter your phone number (WhatsApp)

• Enter the OTP code

• If login is successful, the MitraDarat application's main page will appear

2. How to order free homecoming tickets

• Click the 'Free Homecoming' icon in the MitraDarat application

• Select the departure and destination points for the homecoming

• Select the desired homecoming vehicle and fill in the passenger's identity information correctly

• Click the 'Complete Booking' button

3. How to check the proof of free homecoming tickets

• Click the 'Free Homecoming' icon in the MitraDarat application

• Select the 'My Tickets' icon

• Click the reserved ticket

• Then, select the 'View QR Code' button
