Man Kneels for 21 Hours in the Rain to Get Back with Ex, Here's the Ending of Their Love Story

Dream - Blind love can make someone do anything to win the heart of their beloved. Including kneeling in the rain for hours.

That's what a man from China did after a video of him pleading to his ex-girlfriend for another chance went viral on social media platform Weibo.

According to South China Morning Post, the man from Dazhou was seen kneeling in front of the entrance of a building while holding a large bouquet of roses.

The man knelt in front of the building where his ex-girlfriend was suspected to work, from 1:00 PM local time until the next day at 10:00 AM.

It seems that regret and deep love made the man unmoved as he continued to kneel for 21 hours even though it was raining heavily.

He tried to regain the love that was lost from his ex-girlfriend. The man hoped that his dramatic gesture could melt the heart of the woman he loved.

Unfortunately, the man's efforts seemed to be in vain. His hard work turned out to be futile.

Apparently, the woman he hoped for never appeared from the building where she worked. Instead, the man became a spectacle for pedestrians.

They gathered around him and took pictures. Not only that, some advised him to stop his foolish act.

According to the residents, the dramatic act would only torture himself. In addition, it could cause unnecessary commotion in the community.

"We all tried to talk to him and ask him to leave. There's no need to keep kneeling like that. His girlfriend doesn't want to show up but he's still here, losing face," said one resident.

Concerned about his condition, the residents called the police to persuade him to stop his actions. However, even the police couldn't persuade him.

"He said he broke up with his girlfriend a few days ago. He wants to apologize and hopes they can get back together," said one of the police officers who arrived.

Since they couldn't persuade the man, the police tried to move him to another location. But the man challenged the officers instead.

"Is it forbidden for me to kneel here? If not, please leave me alone," the man emotionally said to the police.

Finally, the man left after 21 hours with a soaking wet body from the rain. According to the residents, the man was probably unable to withstand the cold. (x)
