رَبِّ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Rabbi Annii Massaniya as-Syaithoonu binushbin Wa Adzabin.

Meaning: "Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful." (QS.Sad: 41)

Surah Al-Mu'minun Verse 97 - 98

وَقُلْ رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ. وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ

وَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ وَأَنصِتُوا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

Meaning: "And say, 'My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils. And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me.'" (QS.Al-Mu'minun: 97 - 98)

Surah As-Saffat Verse 7

إِنَّا مَسَّنَا الْمُجْرِمِينَ. سَقَرَ

Reciting Ayatul Kursi

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ

لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

Meaning: "Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great." (QS.Al-Baqarah: 255)

Surah Al-Fatihah

Besides being a mandatory reading in every prayer, Surah Al-Fatihah is also powerful when recited for someone who is possessed. Surah Al-Fatihah is even called Asy-Syifa or the cure.

Prayer of Angel Jibril

The last prayer for someone who is possessed is the prayer of Angel Jibril. It is explained in a hadith that Angel Jibril came to the Prophet Muhammad and asked:

"O Muhammad, are you sick?"

Then, the Prophet Muhammad answered:

"Yes."

Then Angel Jibril prayed:

In the name of Allah, I perform ruqyah (recitation for healing) upon you, from all that troubles you, and from the evil of every envious person and evil eye. May Allah heal you.
