Regular Hajj Fee Payment Opens from April 11, Here's the Amount per Province

Dream - The Ministry of Religious Affairs issued Minister of Religious Affairs Decree No. 352 of 2023 concerning the Regular Hajj Travel Fee (Bipih) for 1444 H and the Use of Benefit Value.

This decree regulates the Regular Hajj Fee for hajj pilgrims, regional hajj officers (PHD), as well as guides in the Hajj and Umrah Worship Group (KBIHU), and the payment period and amount of the Hajj Implementation Fee (BPIH) sourced from the Benefit Value.

“The Minister of Religious Affairs has issued the Regular Bipih Decree. Payment can be made from April 11 to May 5, 2023,” said the Director General of Hajj and Umrah Services, Hilman Latief, in his statement quoted on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

“If by the end of the deadline there are still available quotas that have not been filled, the payment period can be extended and will be determined by the Director General of PHU,” he added.

Here's the Amount of Regular Hajj Fee and its Distribution by Province:

a. Aceh Embarkation with an amount of Rp 44,364,357.26, for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from Aceh Province;
b. Medan Embarkation with an amount of Rp 45,201,652.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from North Sumatra Province;

c. Batam Embarkation with an amount of Rp 47,429,308.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from Riau Province, Riau Islands Province, West Kalimantan Province, and Jambi Province.
d. Padang Embarkation with an amount of Rp 46,044,850.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from West Sumatra Province and Bengkulu Province;

e. Palembang Embarkation with an amount of Rp 48,005,008.26 for a number of Regular Hajj Pilgrims from South Sumatra Province and Bangka Belitung Province;
f. Jakarta (Pondok Gede) Embarkation with an amount of Rp 51,338,008.26 for Regular Hajj Pilgrims from DKI Jakarta Province, Banten Province, and Lampung Province;

“The amount of Regular Hajj Fee is used for the cost of: hajj flights, living expenses, as well as some of the costs for services in Arafah, Mudzalifah, and Mina,” explained Hilman.

The PHD and KBIHU Bipih are used for the cost of flights; accommodation; consumption; transportation; services in Arafah, Mudzalifah, and Mina; protection; services in embarkation or debarkation; immigration services; insurance premiums and other protections; travel documents; living expenses; guidance for hajj pilgrims in the homeland and Saudi Arabia; public services domestically and in Saudi Arabia; and BPIH management.
