Top Company Manager Switches to Becoming a Farmer, His Life Becomes Happier

Dream - Having a prestigious position with a high salary in a company does not guarantee happiness for someone. Like a man named Wakhid, who left his position in a company and chose to become a chicken farmer.

Switching to becoming a chicken farmer has become a new path for Wakhid to enjoy his life. He used to be a manager in a manufacturing company in the automotive field.

"I used to work in an automotive manufacturing company," he said in the YouTube channel Capcapung.

When he was still a manager with a high salary, he was required to constantly brainstorm, which consumed his time and energy. He always went through that routine from morning until night. Wakhid felt uncomfortable.

"While at the office, I had to be there for 8 hours. My brain was drained, a lot of time wasted on work problems," he said.

Initially, Wakhid became familiar with the world of farming when he chose to watch content about chicken farming. It was a way for him to entertain himself amidst his busy work routine.

"I casually watched YouTube videos about chickens. Over time, I found the KUB chicken interesting, the local chicken's egg production is abundant and its growth is rapid," he said.

Wakhid became interested and curious about various methods of raising KUB chickens. He even dared to buy several chickens to use as experiments.

Wakhid admitted that he had no knowledge or background in the field of farming, he only obtained information through the YouTube videos.

Wakhid then decided to quit his job and leave his managerial position. He chose to focus on farming in the countryside. His reason was that he would have more free time.

"If we follow our ego, we won't be satisfied. We would just waste our money. I prefer this business which can be considered dirty and small, but I have more time," he said.

With that decision, Wakhid found comfort. He had more free time, which made him happier, even though he had to deal with dirt and fatigue.

"I enjoy and feel happier here even though I get tired and dirty, but my heart feels better being a farmer," he added.

Regarding the income he earns, being a farmer requires more perseverance. However, Wakhid admitted that the income he generates is not much different from his previous job.

"Income is sometimes up and down. I call it 11 12, because sometimes it's more, sometimes less, it's a business matter. But I am still grateful for it," Wakhid said.
