A woman named Irene admitted that she could only stay silent because she felt hurt by her husband.

"If I didn't marry you, I wouldn't know what it feels like to be hurt but can only stay silent and keep it to myself in the room," she wrote in a post on the TikTok account @mileyanii.

She mentioned that she had fulfilled her duties as a wife, including cooking. However, her husband always claimed that she never cooked.

"I have fulfilled my duties as a wife, but he always says that I never cook. I wouldn't know what it feels like to have my clothes dipped in the toilet just because I deleted his friend's contact on WhatsApp," she said.

Irene admitted that she could only cry and keep her feelings to herself. She didn't know who to confide in because she was physically and emotionally hurt.

"But I can only cry and keep crying. I can only cry alone in the room without confiding in anyone, I feel the pain alone. I even wonder if I got married just to be physically and emotionally hurt," Irene said.

Her heart was even more broken when she found out that her husband was cheating on her with another woman. "And I wouldn't know what it feels like to be cheated on by this woman, congratulations to you, ma'am, you have broken a wife's heart," she said.

The woman from Kalimantan admitted that throughout her marriage, she was always treated harshly, both verbally and physically. Her husband always demanded perfection from her.

Irene said her husband's harsh behavior started with words. But after she moved in with her husband's family, the man began to mistreat her physically.

What's even more heartbreaking is that Irene's mother-in-law knew when her son hit her. But her mother-in-law never defended Irene in the slightest.
