The younger sibling of the groom-to-be, Yuli, confirmed that his brother, who is a heavy equipment rental entrepreneur, proposed to his beloved with a dowry of Rp5.5 billion.

He said his brother proposed to his girlfriend, who is a medical graduate from Halu Oleo University (UHO) in Kendari.

The bride-to-be is the child of Abidin and Rapida, who live a simple life. Her father is a farmer and her mother is a trader.

"As for the house, we don't really know the exact value, maybe around that amount (Rp4.5 billion), as for the dowry money, it was indeed that much, Rp1 billion," said Yuli, as quoted from kendariinfo.

Yuli recounted that the couple first met at a wedding event on February 9, 2023.

After a brief introduction, Yudi finally decided to propose to Nurmainna.

"We met at the wedding of Pak Nurrahman's child, the former Regent of North Kolaka, in Lasusua on February 9. Coincidentally, this woman is also a relative. They didn't date, Fitra Yudi proposed immediately and was immediately approved by the family," he said.
