Through his Instagram account @ridwankamil, he showed the agreement or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) made by the whole family. The agreement was made in 2016 when his late son Eril, the eldest, and Zara, his second daughter, were still teenagers. 

From the signed paper by Ridwan Kamil, Atalia, Eril, and Zara, there are 9 points of agreement. It turns out that the agreement was typed by the late Eril himself.

"7 years ago, between me, mom @ataliapr, the late A Eril and Zara. The MoU draft was typed by the late A Eril. Alhamdulillah, the majority of the children comply," wrote Ridwan Kamil in his upload.

Contents of the Agreement

The details of the agreement are visible, and from its contents, it turns out that it trains the discipline of their children's mentality. This includes maintaining communication with parents and respecting each other.

Touching Moment of Ridwan Kamil Representing Late Eril's Graduation at ITB: We Are All Proud of You

Dream - Almost a year since Emmeril Kahn Mumtaz or Eril passed away on May 26, 2022, in Bern, Switzerland. The son of West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil also graduated in absentia.

Ridwan Kamil represented his son's graduation on Saturday, April 8, 2022, who successfully earned a bachelor's degree from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).

Atalia Praratya's husband said that ITB held two sessions to test whether Eril's final project, which had already been completed in substance, was eligible to be declared graduated or not.

"It needs to be emphasized that our family did not ask for this. Because we have surrendered all rights/affairs in this world," said Ridwan Kamil, quoted from Instagram @ridwankamil, Sunday, April 9, 2023.

The final project created by the late Eril and his team is a project that creates a mobile phone camera, which is then read by machine learning.

In the process, the first session was held at the faculty, and then the results of the faculty session were further examined by several Professors. The result was that Eril's final project met the strict standards of ITB.

Closing his post, Ridwan expressed his pride in his eldest son.

"Dear A Eril, Even after you passed away, Allah SWT still loves you by giving you honor and respect, my child.

Congratulations, A. We are all proud of you. Our best prayers and condolences are sent to you," concluded Ridwan Kamil.

In the video uploaded by the Governor, Ridwan Kamil was also accompanied by his wife Atalia Praratya and Eril's younger sister, Camillia Laetitia Azzahra. The three of them wore matching all-white outfits.

"For everyone who is graduating, including us, even though accompanied by the late Eril (al-Fatihah) in a different way and destiny. Whatever the scenario, Allah's plan is the most noble," wrote Ridwan.

There is even a prop with a picture of Eril wearing a graduation gown. When Ridwan Kamil represented Eril's graduation, he also brought the prop.
