According to Hesti, she had a pleasant and thrilling experience during the climb. She admitted to preparing for the climb for six months.

"It was my first time climbing a mountain. Yesterday, many people DM me, saying things like 'what are you doing climbing Lawu for the first time'," said Hesti quoted from Bercanda Pagi, Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

"We've been preparing for this for six months and we went with people who are experts. We can't just do it recklessly," she added.

This mother of two said she chose Lawu for her first climb because she was invited to climb that mountain. "If there's a chance to climb another mountain, why not," she said.

Hesti revealed an extraordinary experience during her climb to the mystical mountain with her eight companions. She heard Javanese gamelan music when they reached the fourth post.

"I don't know whether to believe it or not because we departed on a Friday night. But we didn't think about it, we were fine. Did anyone hear the music? Honestly, I heard it after sunset at the fourth post, but I didn't tell the others," said Hesti.

"If I was the only one who heard it, maybe I was hallucinating. When we were down there, we talked about it, there were so many stories. One of them was that I heard the music after sunset, and it turned out that one of my friends heard it too," she added.
