The mother of three children said she did not mind the verdict. According to her, this verdict proves that the domestic violence she experienced is indeed true.

"Because from the defendant's side, they always say that there is no domestic violence. But the legal facts that have been decided state that it has been proven legally and convincingly that there is domestic violence against me, both physically and psychologically," added Venna.

According to Venna, the verdict is not about whether she is satisfied or not with her husband's verdict, but rather a legitimate punishment for the domestic violence she experienced.

"If asked whether satisfied or not satisfied, I am more towards okay this is done. Now I focus on the divorce because I want to divorce. The legal fact is that Ferry was declared guilty and convincingly committed domestic violence and his punishment is one year," she said.

Now, this 50-year-old woman only wants to divorce Ferry Irawan. She believes that the verdict of domestic violence can influence the consideration of the chairman of the panel of judges regarding her divorce lawsuit against her husband.

"I also want a divorce, I counter-sue, I file a counterclaim because of the domestic violence I experienced. So, this verdict, God willing, becomes a consideration for the judge from the South Jakarta religious court that I am the victim of domestic violence," she said.

Venna said that Ferry Irawan still does not admit his mistake even though he has been proven to commit domestic violence. Venna emphasized that she currently only wants to focus on handling her divorce with the 46-year-old man.

"It is their right not to admit it, but it is also my right to seek justice. Now, thank God, we have reached the point of the verdict, which means there is one more homework, I want to divorce, I want to divorce peacefully," said Venna Melinda.

According to Verrell Bramasta's mother, the documents must be seen and read directly before handing over the requested items to Ferry. 

"If there is a special power of attorney now to receive Ferry's belongings that are still in my house, or documents, or anything of value, if it exists now, please give it to me," said Venna Melinda.

It was previously known that Sunan Kalijaga had threatened to report Venna Melinda to the police if she refused to return Ferry Irawan's belongings.

"On November 17, there was an incident in Medan, that was the first time I felt it, I remember it because I was invited by a state-owned company to be a guest star, and I experienced violence," said Venna Melinda on the show Rumpi No Secret.

Venna did not expect that the violence she experienced in Medan would continue. She even said that she often experienced violence while in the bedroom.

"Since Medan, there have been incidents at home and most often upstairs. So, upstairs is always in the bedroom and the TV volume intentionally loud, I often shout and the nanny who bathes Vania (their child) can definitely hear it, but the nanny doesn't want to get involved," added Venna Melinda.

According to her, Ferry always admits his mistake after committing violence. Ferry then apologizes every time he commits violence. "I thought he always apologized and believed that it would never happen again. He even said it for the sake of Allah and the Prophet, and I love Ferry, honestly, I love Ferry extraordinarily," added Venna.

However, the incident in Kediri, East Java, on Sunday, January 8, 2023, was the most severe case of domestic violence. Venna cannot forgive her husband for that.
