Innalillahi, One of Musdalifah Basri's Twin Children Passes Away

Dream - Sad news comes from Comedian Musdalifah Basri. Devin Afta Asadel, one of her twin sons born on June 9, 2023, passed away one day after being born. 

Musdalifah gave birth to her premature son through a cesarean section when her pregnancy was only 29 weeks. 

Meanwhile, one of her twin sons named Devan Afla Asadel is currently receiving intensive care in the NICU.

"Our sons were born on Friday, June 9, 2023. At 22:39. We named them: Devin Afta Asadel (the older brother) and Devan Afla Asadel (the younger brother). Qodarullah, big brother Devin passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023. At 05:47. And currently, little brother Devan is fighting in the NICU," said Musdalifah, quoted from Dream, on Friday, June 16, 2023.

Please Pray for the Second Child's Recovery

The comedian from Pinrang, South Sulawesi, asks for prayers for her deceased child and for Devan who is still fighting in the NICU.

"Please sincerely pray for our sons. May big brother Devin be placed and established in Allah's heaven. And little brother Devan who is still fighting, be given the strength to go through everything, be given health and a long life so that he can reunite with us. Amen, O Allah 🤲🏻Al-Fatihah," she said.

Previously, Musdalifah Basri shared the story of her love affair with her husband, Dian. Musdalifah admitted that she first got to know Dian through a direct message (DM) after appearing on the Ghibah YouTube channel.

"After the show, he sent a DM, followed me on Instagram, suddenly there was someone who DM-ed me, encouraging me in my studies," Musdalifah said, quoted from the YouTube channel TonightShowNet on Friday, July 29, 2022.

Receiving a DM from Dian, Musdalifah became curious about the man from Bogor, West Java. Their relationship progressed from following each other.

"Then I thought, who is this guy? He's so different, sending DMs. I saw that he was handsome and had a yellow Vespa. I followed him back and we started dating from there," Musdalifah added.

Interestingly, they became a couple after three days of getting to know each other. 

"We became a couple after only three days," Dian added.

"We had three days of getting to know each other through WhatsApp, then we met in Kalibata," Musdalifah said.

What's even funnier is that Dian admitted that he confessed his love to Musdalifah in a public transportation vehicle. At that time, Dian and Musdalifah were going to watch a stand-up show.

Since there were only three people in the vehicle, including the driver, Dian finally mustered the courage to ask Musdalifah to be his girlfriend.

"We were going to watch a stand-up show, just the two of us in the vehicle with the driver. That's when I proposed to Musdalifah," Dian said.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I gave her chocolate, and she immediately grabbed it, so I took that as a yes," Dian added.

After three months of dating, Musdalifah and Dian finally got married. "We got married after three months of dating," Musdalifah said.

This mother of one was confident in marrying Dian because she saw that he was mature. She also felt that she received attention from Dian and was treated like a queen when they were dating.
