Joining Sheila On 7 Concert After Conversion, Sakti's Performance Becomes the Center of Attention

Dream - For the first time since deciding to leave in 2006, Sakti Aria Seno performed with Sheila On 7. Sakti's special appearance occurred when Sheila On 7 held a concert in Yogyakarta on Saturday, May 27, 2023.

The man now known as Salman Al-Jugjawy appeared in a gray robe and a brown peci hat, complete with the guitar he played.

Sakti also appeared with a lengthened beard and mustache. He seemed enthusiastic about performing again after deciding to deepen his Islamic faith.

"On 7 is known to have just held a concert on Saturday (27/5/2023) night. This concert, titled Sheila On 7 Live in Concert, was held in their hometown, Yogyakarta. Attended by hundreds of fans, Duta and friends performed their hit songs from the 2000s era," wrote @frix.id as quoted by Dream on Monday, May 29, 2023.

The video clip posted by the account @frix.id went viral and received many comments from netizens. Many of them were happy to see Sakti performing again with the band from Yogyakarta.

Many hope that all former members of Sheila On 7 can reunite and perform together again.

"Anton should join too... but Anton must be unwilling... because he already knows what's inside.. 🥲 bless you, Mas Anton, 507, and Sheila gang," wrote the account @dailystoryofkartika.

"After this, there should be a reunion concert of Sheila On 7 with Anton and Sakti," wrote the account @dani_nata_kesuma.

"Crying," wrote the account @nayah_burga.

Dream - Sakti, the former member of the band Sheila on 7, has now converted. The appearance of the former bassist from Yogyakarta has changed.

The man named Saktia Ari Seno is no longer seen performing on stage. After leaving Sheila on 7, he delved into religion.

1. Career in Music

Sakti started his career as a guitarist for Sheila on 7 in 1999 with their debut album under Sony Music Indonesia.

Sakti decided to leave after seven years since the release of their debut album. Sakti left the band because his mother suddenly fell ill. He wanted to focus on taking care of his mother.

2. Choosing to Convert

After deciding to leave Sheila on 7, Sakti focused on his conversion. He had actually converted since 2005, while still a member of Sheila on 7.

Born in 1980, he began reading Islamic books while performing in Malaysia.

3. Changing His Name

After deciding to convert, the former bassist also changed his name to Salman Al Jugjawy. His appearance now looks very religious and he is seen adhering to the Sunnah, as he also grows a beard, which is one of the Prophet's traditions.

4. Enter the Business World

Although no longer existent in the entertainment world as before, Sakti ventured into the business world. He also established a boarding school and engaged in other businesses, such as coffee business, clothing, and hajj and umrah travel.
