Marcell Darwin Submit Memorization of Short Letters to His Wife, Listen to the Recitation

Dream - Marcell Darwin shows his commitment to becoming a convert not because he will marry Nabila Faisal. Deciding to embrace Islam in 2020, the 32-year-old actor diligently learns Islam starting from learning to pray to memorizing short letters.

This father of one child even submits the memorization of the short letter Al-Ikhlas as requested by his wife.

Not only her husband, Nabila also asked her son, Qeenan, to recite Surah Al-Ikhlas. With a still stuttering memorization, Nabila demanded that the child who is not yet one year old complete his recitation.

Masha Allah, Portrait of Marcell Darwin Inviting His Son to Learn Congregational Prayer Flooded with Praise

Dream - Marcell Darwin invites his son, Benjamin Qeenan Darwin, to learn prayer. In a video uploaded to Instagram, Marcell is seen putting a checkered-patterned cap on Qeenan.

Marcell Darwin directs his son to face the qibla. Without waiting for his father, Qeenan immediately performs the prayer movements with prostration. He occasionally adjusts the cap that falls to cover his face.

In the next video, Qeenan is seen standing next to Marcell Darwin while looking at the camera. Then Qeenan goes towards his mother who records the moment of him learning prayer with his father.

According to Marcel in the video caption, his son is sad because he cannot follow his father's prayer movements.

"Continuation of learning prayer. Suddenly Qeenan cried sadly because he couldn't follow Papa's movements," he said.

Immediately, the two videos uploaded by the former lover of Cinta Laura were commented on by netizens. Many were amazed to see Marcell Darwin and his son.

Dream - Marcell Darwin expresses his feelings since deciding to convert. He admits to being very happy living his life as a Muslim.

However, Marcell cannot explain what kind of happiness he has felt since becoming a convert in November 2019.

This 29-year-old man is grateful to have been able to memorize three reading passages for prayer. He is also grateful to be able to lead the prayer for his wife, Nabila Faisal, although still assisted by his wife.

"Alhamdulillah, I can already recite three short letters. Every time I pray, I can already lead her," said the actor of the film Lawang Sewu.

Now, this expectant father is still learning to deepen his knowledge of Islamic teachings starting from the basics. Marcell admits that he is still learning the basic things about Islam. Starting from how to pray, prayer readings, and ablution.

"Now I'm only learning the basics. Before, I couldn't jump straight into the deep end. It's like I'm still in kindergarten, I'm still learning the readings, the way to pray, and the way to perform ablution," said Marcell.

"So I don't want to dive in and follow everything right away. I'm afraid I won't be able to accept it. So I'm learning slowly," added the Makassar-German blooded man.
