Suffering from a Rare Disease, Sarwendah Can Only Surrender Every Time She Sees the MRI Results

Dream - Living a healthy lifestyle and exercising regularly apparently does not guarantee protection from illness. That's what Sarwendah experienced.

Ruben Onsu's wife admitted to being confused because she suffers from several rare and dangerous diseases. Despite exercising regularly and consuming healthy food.

"According to us, sometimes our lives are already predetermined, including our food choices. Sometimes everything doesn't matter. No matter what we eat, it's not because of that," Sarwendah said, quoted from the Indosiar YouTube channel.

Wendah found out about her rare disease through routine MRI scans. Unexpectedly, the results were quite surprising for her and Ruben Onsu.

"But sometimes during check-ups, we get surprising results. Even though we didn't do anything," she explained.

However, unfortunately, the mother of three did not clearly disclose the specific diseases she has, except for having a cyst in her brain.

"But it turns out that when I checked other things, there are some things that need more focus." So, that's how it is," she said.

Therefore, Wendah can only surrender and leave everything to God.

"Thinking positively is a must. Our thinking is already a choice from Above. Well, just pray that everything will be fine," she said.

Previously, Sarwendah shared the heartbreaking story of her illness. According to Sarwendah, if the cyst is undetected and ruptures in the brain, her life is at risk.

"Well, if it (the cyst) bursts or something happens to it, it could be fatal," Sarwendah said as quoted from the FYP Trans7 show on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

"Because the balance of our brain stem is there, her eyes might tilt to one side, she may not be able to stand straight, and she may not be able to hear," she added.

Currently, Sarwendah is still undergoing observation and it is not recommended by the doctor to undergo surgery. Ruben Onsu's wife is still undergoing treatment and will see whether the size of the cyst will increase or decrease.

"It's only been one month, the doctor said to observe first, so three to six months later, we'll check again whether it's growing or it's staying there and not causing any problems, so just leave it be," Sarwendah said.

The mother of three admitted that she first felt the symptoms of the cyst from constant headaches. The sudden onset and disappearance of the dizziness.

"Here (touching the back of her head) it's very dizzy. It's like being possessed, not picked up or dropped off, so it's like suddenly getting dizzy and suddenly disappearing all day long and it's very disturbing," she said.

This 32-year-old woman admitted that she is sad to be diagnosed with a cyst in her brain. Moreover, her husband is also sick.

However, Sarwendah believes that she and her husband are chosen by God.

"They say it's sad, yes, it's sad. Maybe we're different because this is not something that comes out, like a cold or cough that anyone can get. Maybe this is something that has been chosen, it's already the path," Sarwendah said.

Previously, Betrand Peto admitted that he is sad and not ready to lose his parents who are currently sick.

The couple Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah are currently facing a heavy trial. Both of them have been diagnosed with a rare disease.

Lately, Ruben has even left many messages for his son, Betrand Peto, to take care of his two younger sisters, Thalia and Thania.

Betrand also feels sad about the situation. Especially seeing Wendah and Ruben having to go back and forth to the hospital.

"I always say to God, God, if the illness can be divided, I want to join," Betrand Peto said while crying on the FYP Trans7 show.

As the older brother, Betrand takes responsibility for his two younger sisters if their parents are no longer around.

"But Onyo also thinks about our younger siblings, if there's no father, mother, and only the three of us, what can we do?" he said.

Ruben Onsu's adopted son admits that he is not ready to lose his parents. Especially since he and his two younger sisters are still young.

"I always say that, I mean I don't want to lose my father and mother," he said while wiping his tears.
